Sharon got her start working in the glass business while in high school and college. She joined the company full-time in 1986 after graduating from UMass Amherst. Sharon enjoys all aspects of the glass business. Her responsibilities have included working in the office, customer service, bidding, on-the-road sales, book-keeping and she is now the company president. She’s also the past president of the Massachusetts Glass Dealers Association and was chairperson for the MGDA scholarship committee. Sharon met her husband, Richard, in 1985 in New York City while both were attending a glass convention. Richard was working at his family’s glass business, Lo-Can Glass International, at the time. Sharon has been successfully running the business since 2022 and in her free time she enjoys sports, including tennis and swimming, and spending time with family.
